Creative life

I remember the me I used to be--the one who created "things" often and well, and felt accomplished because of those creations. Nothing too grand, but scrapbooks, quilting projects, garments, home decor items..."stuff" that fulfilled my creative bent and made me happy. An old friend once told me I used my creativity to build a perfect world, albeit a very small world (:-), in my craft room that satisfied my perfectionism. It's impossible to satisfy either my creativity or my perfectionism (which, come to think of it, is a very tiny bit of perfectionism by this, my 51st year) in the real world in which I live day by day.

So, in this blog I plan to chronicle my creative endeavors, as a way of reminding me that 1) I am creative and 2) I do get some things done that don't get eaten, dirtied, cluttered or thrown away!
